History:
In the fall of 2002, Kay Higgins, who then worked for the Doggett Center, met a few Meredith Angels and worked with them to start an organization called the Catholic Community of Meredith College. Together with Kay and Sam Carothers, the students wrote a constitution, found an advisor, and had their organization approved. It slowly grew in size and began traditions it keeps to this day.
